Our funboards or hybrids are designed for the novice and intermediate surfer from 40kgms to 90kgms. They are easy to catch waves, stable and predictably maneuverable.  They have some of the performance characteristics of a large shortboard especially in the 6'8” to 6'10” ranges.  The funboards are slightly heavier but stronger than most shortboards and can withstand the wear that the novice surfer inflicts on their first fiberglass board. Good resale value when you want to trade up.
